A baby wrap can be used as clothing for the newborn. It can make the baby feel comfortable since newborns generally love to feel warm and their hands and feet being covered. You can start by taking pictures of the baby while in a wrap then later take it off for the next shot.

Bean bags are available in various sizes, shapes and colors. These are generally used to elevate flooring and make it easier to changes poses while keeping the baby safe.
